FROM THE PRESIDENT
Hello to all fellow golfers!
As I write this I am wondering if all of you are anxiously waiting for our new golf season as I am. Even with Mother Nature covering our course with a blanket of fresh snow recently my hope is that we are not very far away for opening both our driving range and golf course.
With that in mind I would like to make you aware of a potential "Member Spring Clean Up Day". We have tentatively scheduled it for Saturday, April 11th. This would be a volunteer opportunity for members to help get our golf course open sooner, more economically, and hopefully also start the healing process we all go thru of not being able to be on the golf course since last fall.
The tentative date of April 11th is dependent on the weather but if the weather is cooperative we would be asking volunteers to come to the course for 2-3 hours and help Tom and his crew with raking, picking up branches, etc. All volunteers can enjoy a brat and beverages afterwards with your fellow members while watching some of the Masters golf tournament on our big screen.
As mentioned earlier, this event is weather permitting. We will keep you informed as the date draws closer but I strongly urge you to consider participating in what should be a fun event.
Looking forward to seeing you on the course. Russell Moen
