From The President
Hello again BTCC members,
Another golf season is winding down for us. Errant shots are getting harder to find amidst the falling leaves. The famous "Bemidji leaf rule" will be coming into play soon. I sincerely wish to thank everyone for supporting the Club again this year. Some of you have been members for decades and have seen many changes take place. It is of interest to me that 2006 will be the 90th Anniversary of Bemidji Town and Country Club. I am humbled by the fact that you let me be President of an organization with such a long rich history.
The members survey is completed now. Once again, I apologize for the imperfect construction of some of the questions. This was really an attempt to gain some insight to members concerns and wishes. I am really pleased that for the most part, members are satisfied with the efforts of the club to bring the finest overall golf and dining experience to BTCC. That being said, there will always be room for improvement. There were quite a few constructive comments provided by members. The Board will review and discuss the results at our September meeting. I will report back to you soon.
Let's take advantage of the beautiful fall golfing weather. I am excited that the greens have been "punched". All those little holes seem to help bump my putts back on line. Seriously, I played the day after Tom took care of the greens and there are not that bad. Also, I do believe the Boy's and Girls Club 1st annual tournament is on September 30th. The format sounds fun so make sure you get a partner and tee it up.
