FROM THE GREENS COMMITTEE
Wow, we sure have had a few nice fall days to play. I've noticed that not many folks are taking advantage of them. Here is an update on tree planting. We have flagged the location of 15 new trees to be planted. They are as follows: a total of 6 new trees along the left side of #15. We anticipate someday losing the 3 large Norway that guard the fairway along the left side. We will plant trees short of these big guardians and beyond them as well. Further down the fairway near where we lost the big tree several years ago we will put in 3 more. On # 16 we will plant 3 trees on the left and over the hill. These will guard the green somewhat from the left rough. Between # 9 and # 10 we will plant several trees to fill in voids left by the removal of the dead oaks. On #4 we will plant 3 additional trees on the left at around 190 yards from the green. This eventually will create a risk reward landing area for the big hitters. Please take a look at the flag locations and let me know what you think. We plan to plant these trees in the next week or so. Thanks again.

FITZGERALD SCORES HER SECOND ACE OF SEASON
Most of us dream of making just one hole-in-one, but Diane Fitzgerald scored two aces on the same hole in the same year! On Sunday, September 26th Diane aced the 14th hole at 110 yards with a pitching wedge. She previously aced #14 in June. The feat was witnessed by her husband Bob and two sons. Congratulations!
