PRESIDENTS REPORT
Dear Members,
D-Day has arrived! Of course that stands for demolition day. I will keep you up to date on the progress of the kitchen and upstairs remodeling at least once a month. We know this is a big project and everyone involved is concerned about costs, but at the same time we have to think about the long term and do things right.
In our first two nights of demolition, we had a great turnout of help and support from our members. This has been a large savings for our club.
On another note, Rosie Drahos, Sylvia Wildgen and Margo Curb-Aitken will be doing a fundraiser for the women's locker room. We feel that now is the time to take care of all areas.
In the last couple of years of being on the board and also being involved in the previous remodel, I can tell you that our greatest asset is our members. While we don't always agree on how or what is being done, the course and club are always the winners. I can personally assure you the contractor, sub-contractor, and anybody who is professionally involved with the project have the club in mind. Many hours of planning and cost saving measures have gone into this and will continue to until this is completed.
If you would like to make a donation to the upstairs project, please contact me at (218) 751-0550 or (218) 586-3402. Any donations are greatly appreciated.
We thank you for your confidence.
Sincerely,
Scott Curb-President
