Bemidji Town & Country Club Online Newsletter - 05/09/05

We will be holding our Annual Wine and Cheese Party for members on Friday, May 20th. Complimentary wine and hors d'oeuvres will be served from 5:30-7:30. There are no reservations, just come out and enjoy the evening! We will also be serving dinner specials.

Our Monday Night Ladies League is starting Monday, May 9. Tee times are blocked off from 3:00-3:30 pm for those wishing to play 18-holes and times are blocked off from 5:00-5:30 pm for 9-holes. The proshop makes the pairings so call in advance. There is a $3.00 entry fee to get into the daily event.

The Wednesday Morning Ladies League starts Wednesday, May 11. Times are blocked off from approximately 8:30 until 10:00 am. Call the proshop for a tee time. There is a $3.00 entry fee to get into the daily event.

There is also a Monday Morning Ladies Group starting May 16th that any female member may join. The group tees off at 10:00 (9:30 once it warms up) and you do NOT need to call in advance. Just show up at least 15 minutes in advance as pairings will be made at that time. All groups start on #1.

Our junior lesson series will take place in June. We hold these clinics for two age groups; our "First Swing" group is for ages 5-7 and our other group is for ages 8-15. Below are the dates and times:
   June 6-9 10:00-11:00 am
   June 13-16 9:00-10:00 am

   June 6-9 8:00-9:00 am
   June 6-9 9:00-10:00 am
   June 13-16 8:00-9:00 am

Call the proshop to sign up your junior. Limited spots are available. The price is $35.00 for each session.

 • Our 9-Hole Friday Night Couples Events begin May 27th. More information will be available in the proshop
 • Pairings are now available online for our Season Long Best-Ball
 • Please inform Rick or myself if you have signed up a new member so that your $50.00 clubhouse gift certificate can be awarded
 • Welcome new members! (as of 5/6)
 • Your May statement shows your remaining food assessment balance as "PPaid Bal 1". Next month it will correctly say "Food Assessment Balance"
