Bemidji Town & Country Club Online Newsletter - 6/1/08

Summer weather seems to have finally arrived after a slow start, and the course is in great shape!! I hope everyone can get out and enjoy the nice weather and a round on Northern Minnesota's best course.

This would be a perfect time to invite a friend or family member over for a round of golf to show off what a great product we have to offer. Don't forget that all members get 5 coupons for a discount on green fees that your guest(s) can use. You can pick up your coupons at the pro shop or talk with Rick or Jeff and they can help get them for you.

I'm sure everyone has noticed that the landscaping has continued around the pond on hole eighteen. Tom and his crew have planted seed around the pond and soon the parking polls will be set in place.

The well project is also moving forward after a slight delay getting permits for the new pump house. Some may have noticed that the concrete has been poured for the pump house foundation and the new pump should be arriving soon. Once the pump is setup on the foundation, work will begin on the surrounding structure. The water line from the new pump will then be dug across the fairway on hole eighteen and connected to the existing water lines. The new pump will go into service in the middle to the end of June.

The "Member of the Month" torch has been passed on to Dave Vogel. Congratulations to Dave as he will get to enjoy the VIP parking spot for the month of June. The member of the month is a random draw from all the members so keep watching the newsletter, as you could be next!!

The last thing is to please remember to fix all ball marks and replace all divots.
