From the President's Keyboard
The Club Tournament was a success. It was great fun and thanks to all who participated in it. Those of you who could not or would not play missed a great time. Thanks to Paul and Rick and the staff, the format was great. All of the sudden, those 2 foot "gimmee" putts look like 20 foot sidehill snakes when you must putt everything out.

The Board is putting together a survey/poll for the membership. We would like as many of you as possible to respond to it. It is very important to all of us to understand what the stockholders and members are thinking about the past, present and the future of BTCC. We will never all agree about major issues of course but we need to have a sense of what the majority of members are concerned about. Please understand that we are not professional poll question writers. These questions are our best effort to "take the pulse" of the overall membership. Thank you for your continued support of BTCC. In my humble opinion, we have a great golf operation at BTCC and each of us is responsible to see it continues moving ahead.

BTCC Team Wins Regional Buick Scramble!
After 15 years a local team is finally going to Florida! Yesterday (Wednesday) the team of Dick Robbins, Scott Robbins, Andy Campbell, Jay Swanson (from Mpls) and myself fired a 16 under score on a windy day at the Preserve in Brainerd to capture the low gross championship by one stroke. We now advance to the Buick Scramble National Championship, a 4-day tournament held in Orlando the 2nd week of October. Congratulations guys!
