I hope that all of you have enjoyed the wonderful weather we have had in November. It gave all of us a unique chance to finish off the "to- do" list before winter settles in.

I realize that all of you could not make it to the annual meeting. Therefore, I will bring you up to speed on the newly elected members and their board assignments. In addition, I can advise you of some of the changes taking place since Paul Grovum is retiring at the end of this year.

The following is our Board of Directors for 2007, their position and years remaining. (key for newly elected member: ++ )

Gene Bakke - President - One Year
Al Snider - Vice-President, House Chair - One Year
Paul Friesen - House Committee - One Year
Diane Fitzgerald - Secretary, Proshop, (Mbrs. & Tournaments) - Two years
Scott Hinners - House Committee - Two Years
Scott Tuomala - Greens Chair - Two Years
Brian Bissonette ++ - Marketing, Proshop, (Mbrs. & Tournaments) - Three Years
Russ Moen ++ - Greens Committee - Three Years
Ryce Miller ++ - Treasurer, Proshop, (Mbrs. & Tournaments) - Three Years

I want to personally thank the out going board members for their three years of voluntary service. They are dedicated members who really care about BTCC. They are Margo Curb-Aitken, Scott Robbins and Marshall Johnston.

We had a board meeting on the November 15, 2006 and the financial picture is very positive. As some of you are aware, the practice range facility was paid for without borrowing more long term debt ($90,000.00). Our clubhouse gross profit is up about 5% over last year, approximately $30,000.00. With Paul Grovum retiring, we are buying the remaining inventory back from him and it will be owned / operated by BTCC. The long term debt remains at $750,00.00.

Since Paul Grovum will no longer be available to provide our accounting needs, BTCC has retained the services of Gerald R. Smith, CPA to provide accounting and tax service for 2007.

I wish you all a safe and happy holiday season.
  -Gene Bakke
